Been drawing on blackboards haven't I...

It's kind of like a new business venture for me, and one that might earn me enough to just about cover the cost of the hundreds of Posca pens I have bought for it... 

In the meantime though it's good fun and I've ordered some shiny new business cards to promote my new avenue of picture-drawing.

So, I live in Brighton (I have done for over a year) and last week it occurred to me just how many pubs, clubs, bars and shops use 'decorative' blackboards to advertise, and just how few of them actually make an effort to produce a nice looking blackboard. A gap in the market you could say...

So... I went out last week and found a scrap of MDF, bought some blackboard paint and acquired some Posca and blackboard-chalk pens, and soon I'll be pimping my work for use on blackboards EVERYWHERE. 

If you want your blackboards painted or written on, or know someone who does, I'll do it so it looks nice - pretty even. Just gimme a shout via the usual means.

Had a little exhibition in Portsmouth last week...

Was invited to partake in a little exhibition in Portsmouth last week at The King Street Tavern. It was full of photographers, artists, illustrators and more, and it was nice. They even asked me to draw on some A-boards, and that was nice too.

SQ Magazine commission sneak peek.

Finished a little commission for SQ Magazine a couple weeks ago about student activism.
And here it is! SQ issue 9 in six seconds... I suppose you could say it's bitesize.
Look out for my drawings centred around student activism, but don't blink or you'll miss 'em.

Busy as a bee.

I haven't posted any 'pictures' of late, and that's not because I've been lazy, it's because I've just completed a little (soon-to-be-shown) commission for SQ Magazine (sqmagazine.co.uk) and because I've been working on some pieces for an exhibition this month.
