Santa Maria Del Fiore Cathedral in Firenze. A fantastic building that I spent hours drawing whilst visiting the city last summer. More of the detailed architectural pieces can be seen on my website at olliestone.co.uk in the portfolio section.

Illustration Agencies
A lot of illustration agencies that get in touch with me come across like they dont know what the hell they are doing. Why do they contact people if they do not have a game plan of how to firstly, promote the agency and secondly, how to promote the work of the artists and illustrators within that agency.
I apologise for the rambling, however it makes me think, could I establish an agency/collective of creative individuals with more success... no contracts, no rules, just a loose collective of people trying to succeed in an ever more competitive world.
Its definatley something I am seriously considering, get in touch if your interested, or have any ideas.

Promotional Packs
free promotional packs available now, for something a little differant (in a good way) through your letter box, let me know at olliestone@hotmail.com
Fineliner pens, pen and ink and acrylic paint are the tools which I am working with at present. The piece called 'Hungry In New York' which can be seen below, uses all of these differant materials.
The next large scale piece I am working on is a full A2 page centered around a somewhat sarcastically-skewed version of a busy touristy day in the summer at The Louvre in Paris. The idea for this work comes from my travels last summer whilst backpacking around europe, and should be ready next week.

New work on the way
Im currently working on a couple of large scale pieces centered around real life landscapes. The first is a large, fine-liner drawn, coloured and shaded piece of The Louvre in Paris.
The second is an A2 cityscape of 1930's New York, viewing the buildings and rooftops from an aerial perspective. I expect these two to be ready in the next week or so, stay tuned!
